Director of Social Services
Our client is a well-known NYS housing organization which specializes in providing housing for single parents, couples, and those in extreme need. They are currently looking for a Director of Social Services to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the Social Services Department
Oversee or monitor all clinical provisions of the program for clients
Assesses and coordinates Social Services staff training needs
Assesses, coordinates, and facilitates staff training
Provide back-up administrative coverage in the absence of the Program Director as needed
Monitors and ensures the accuracy of employee timekeeping and payroll systems
Ensures timely evaluations of social service staff, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions as needed
Conduct and facilitate meetings as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Social Work, or any other related field
Master's Degree preferred
Minimum of (5) years of experience in social services
Proficient in child/adolescent development on a emotional and behavioral level and family dynamics

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
