The Administrative Nurse Manager of the OR Surgery Center is responsible for the overall operations of these departments and ensures that a high level of patient care is maintained at all times. He/she assists the Clinical Director of Nursing in accomplishing departmental goals and objectives. The Montefiore Administrative Nurse Manager of the OR Surgery Center maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses' Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement. The Administrative Nurse Manager of the OR Surgery Center actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard and performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center, will participate in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills. Experience:
New York State Registered Professional License and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State. Masters Degree from an accredited program required or must be registered in a Master's program with projected graduation date in three years of position acceptance. M.S.N. preferred. Minimum of five years management experience, CNOR certification Membership in ARON
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
