We are seeking Physician Assistants to join a busy and expanding Joint Replacement Center at Montefiore Medical Center's Wakefield Campus. As part of our astonishing team, you will be collaborating with specialty physicians and surgeons in the pre and post-operative care of surgery patients. Physician Assistants are part of a multidisciplinary team but function independently with physician oversight, and are responsible for patient education, evaluation for transplant, discharge education, and pre and post-surgery care. Responsibilities will include:
OR assistance for joint replacement, and fracture fixation cases Management of pre & post-operative Orthopedic patients ER, and inpatient consult management (including fracture reduction, splinting, casting, management of lacerations, etc.)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Allied Health ProfessionalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
