Pharmacy Intern
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist receives, compounds, and dispenses drugs following standard procedures on the orders of qualified practitioners.
Ability to communicate well with other members of the Department as well as other disciplines.
Must be neat, have mathematical aptitude, be able to read various types of handwriting, and be able to recognize drugs and identify them.
Must have finger dexterity in handling of unit dose and unit of use productsRequirements Holds a Pharmacy Intern Permit issued by the State of New York.
Must have completed at least the third year in a six year Pharmacy program.
Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
Salary Range:
$25.
08 - $26.
40/hourly Recommended Skills Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
