This position will serve as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a division of the Service Access Program Implementation and Stakeholder Support- Regional Field Office (SPSRFO). Divisions within the Regional Field Office include the following:
Service Access (Front Door and Waiver Services), Eligibility, Self-Direction, Housing, Crisis, Property/Development, Fiscal, and Quality Management/Technical Assistance. Through the five Regional Field Office(s) with OPWDD over 130,000 individuals are supported through collaboration and engagement with over 700 voluntary providers, 6 State Operated Development Disabilities Service Operation Offices, and 7 Care Coordination Service Organizations. Region Field Office oversight encompasses 13 specific districts throughout NYS as noted below:
Regional Field Office 4 has oversight in Manhattan/Bronx (Metro), Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island Under the supervision of the Region DDRFO Unit Leader, the incumbent will act as the District Lead (district TBD based on need) and engage in the following duties which will include, but not be limited to:
o The LMSW will be under the supervision of the Regional Leader within a function of the Regional Office. Oversee the day-to-day operations for the District as necessary. Oversee the process flow and participate in the evaluation of service delivery, meeting system goals, and meeting service expectations of individuals, families, and advocates. o Provide Supervision and Leadership to assigned team. Perform administrative tasks including ongoing communication and direction at Team Meetings. Complete required reports. Share policy and procedure requirements. Develop and maintaining staff schedules and resources. Make specific staff assignments. Ensure Team Members have a working knowledge of OPWDD menu of supports and services and associated criteria. Provide training and identify clear expectations. o Engage in regular Audit and improvement Activities. o Maintain knowledge and understanding of OPWDD policies and procedures. Review ADM's, Protocols, Policies and Procedures as released and conduct training and ensure implementation. o Participate in local and statewide meetings and other trainings and workgroups as indicated. o Foster effective collaboration and communication of staff with individuals, families, Care Coordination Organizations, agencies, Local Government Units and other community stakeholders. o Participate in the regular maintenance of the Regional Field Office Policy and Procedural Manual. o Will provide technical assistance to Care Coordination Organizations and OPWDD provider agencies as needed. o Participate in Quality Review Team meetings. o Participate in various committees as directed by the Regional Leadership Team. o Other tasks as assigned o Travel as needed LinkedIn:

Salary Range:
From $67897 to $86140 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and have one year of post NYS licensure professional social work experience; OR Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Registration and licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor are not considered qualifying. Professional social work experience involves activities such as screening, assessing and diagnosing individuals' and families' psychosocial needs, strengths and limitations; participating in the development of treatment plans and discharge plans; counseling and educating individuals, groups and families to promote mental, emotional, physical and social functioning; helping access needed services; providing client/patient advocacy and crisis intervention; and developing, coordinating and evaluating services and support systems. Experience limited to social work research or social work administration is NOT considered qualifying. Continued employment as a Licensed Master Social Worker 1 or 2 is dependent upon current licensure and registration by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Loss of licensure or registration may result in removal from employment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
