Responsible for a minimum of 9 hours and a maximum of 21 hours per week with a minimum of 15 in person contacts with patients including a minimum of ten (30) minute psychotherapy sessions per week.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide verbal psychotherapy to individuals and/or in groups setting.
Conduct intakes as needed Assess clients' need for services.
Formulate appropriate treatment plans for clients.
Centrally coordinate each client's psychotherapy with ancillary and combined services when needed.
Include coordination with social work services, psychological evaluations, and psychiatric consultations.
Maintain current and timely records on all patients in accordance with the PCMH policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by PCMH management.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload of children and adult clients.
Competence in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to clients and staff.
Awareness and commitment to respective training programs operated by PCMH.
Ability to complete documentations in an efficient, timely, and competent manner.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Computer literate.
Outlook, Microsoft and EMR.
Clinicians who prefer to work on site will be provided with space at our Bronx and Queens locations.
Rate of Pay:
$40.
00-50.
00 per hour (varies per session and licensure)QualificationsEDUCATION AND
Experience:
LMSW/LCSW/LMHC in Clinical Social Work or Ph.
D.
in Clinical Psychology.
Minimum 2 years' experience in outpatient mental health setting with direct client contact as a Psychotherapist.
Foothold AWARDS, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,)oOMH Article 31 clinic regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.
Ability to work proactively, problem solve, thinking critically, and strategically.
Ability to effectively manage time.
Ability to appropriately assess and respond to crises.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and initiative.
Recommended Skills Clinical Social Work Communication Computer Literacy Creativity Interpersonal Skills Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
