Read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates.
Prepare digital take-offs and conduct a detailed count of stone slabs as shown on the drawings.
Review due date feasibility and/or discuss a date of completion with the client.
Review bid documents and prepare appropriate qualifications Evaluate accuracy of vendor quotes Develop product knowledge and ability to compare similar products from different suppliers Report weekly on bids in progress Organize project files Present closed projects to the project management team and transition all relevant paper work and information to the project manager - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges - Utilize construction estimating software such as Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns - Research and evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive pricing - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and implement cost control measures as needed - Review contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations Experience - Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices - Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficient in using construction estimating software such as Bluebeam - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Job Type:
