Sanitation Manager - Overnight
Overnight Sanitation Manager needed ASAP Objectives:
Oversee and direct the overnight housekeeping and custodial staff while ensuring thorough cleanliness across all of a food production facility. Job Duties:
Coordinate sanitation schedules for 3 manufacturing plants. Ensure staff receive proper training on chemical safety, sanitation equipment, procedures, and company policies. Develop and update Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and conduct trainings for them. Supervise sanitation department activities and objectives. Collaborate with plant managers to streamline changeover, shutdown, and startup processes. Manage chemical and cleaning supply inventories. Oversee integrated pest management. Fulfill other assigned duties. Requirements:
MUST be a LEADER with 3
years of direct supervisory experience. Must effectively manage tasks and delegate responsibilities as needed. Adaptable and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Self-motivated and proactive. Must be able to see and make suggestions on how to improve current procedures. Find ways to reduce downtime for workers. Inspires and motivates team members. Takes responsibility for actions and encourages accountability in others. Demonstrates leadership qualities, resolves conflicts, and mentors when necessary. Technical Expertise Desired:
MUST be a LEADER with 3
years of direct supervisory experience. Solid understanding of manufacturing and sanitation standards for personnel and food safety. Knowledgeable about acid, alkali, and sanitizing chemicals. Experience in training sanitation and production staff. Skilled in both wet and dry sanitation within manufacturing settings. Other Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. 3
years of Supervisory Experience with multiple Direct Reports. Familiarity with Safety, HACCP, GMP's, and OSHA practices. Basic knowledge of equipment operation in food production. Intermediate Computer Skills (MS Office Suite). Hours, Salary &

This position is located in the Claremont area of the Bronx. This is an overnight shift - Monday - Friday, shift starting either 9pm or 11pm (and ending 8 hours later) Salary range (will match your level of experience) Salaried between $60k - $70k/year. Employees are paid weekly. Benefits include:
Health, Vision, Dental. 401k with up to 4% company match, PTO of 2 weeks annually.
