We are actively seeking a Clinical Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our homecare nursing team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge in home health, long term care and/or outpatient therapy and has at least two years of clinical experience (but not required). We are willing to Train Newly graduates with a current RN License . Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to think quickly on one's feet are a must-have for this opportunity.
Responsibilities Include:
Monitor and supervise home health aides (HHA's) .
Communicate medical information to office, staffing department Director of Clinical Services.
Demonstrate basic first aid skills, as needed.
Communicate with personnel, patients, and/or families during a crisis in both English and Chinese or Cantonese or Mandarin languages as needed.
Teach patients about their medical condition and provide basic education on how to manage symptoms.
Teach patients' family members how to care for the patient.
Administer medications as directed by a medical practitioner.
Complete patient assessments as needed
Able to work in the Bronx or Queens as needed
