Fordham University, The Jesuit University of New York, invites applications for the Teaching Artist-in Residence in its Department of Communication and Media Studies, to commence September 1, 2014. The position is for two years (non-renewable), teaching three courses each semester. The Teaching Artist-in-Resident would likely spend one semester at our Rose Hill Bronx campus and one semester at our Lincoln Center Manhattan campus each year.
For this appointment, we seek a talented educator and media practitioner with a record of achievement in the area of writing for the media. Candidates with specializations in writing for the news and/or opinion media, magazine writing, screenwriting, writing for television programs (drama, comedy, etc.), writing for radio/audio, writing for digital and/or online media, etc., are welcome to apply.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
