Job Title: Integration Architect


JOB PURPOSE:

The Integration Architect works with stakeholders - both leadership and subject matter experts - to build a holistic view of our clients Integration Architecture (strategy through implementation). The Integration Architect will provide technical leadership to define, plan, evangelize and implement an integration solution. Lead the definition, documentation, and communication of policies and guidelines on integration, approaches and solutions. Identify and prioritize business integration needs, and define and communicate business benefits of integration. Drive development of an Integration framework. The Integration Architect will set standards and drive the transformation of the current integration management footprint to the future state.

Responsibilities:

Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive integration architecture.
Analyze industry standards and trends on integration technologies.
Define the principles that guide integration decisions for the enterprise.
Design and lead the implementation of an EAI based on business and IT strategies.
Based on the integration requirements and the overall technical architecture guiding principles, perform a software selection for integration architecture components.
Work with the application designer to create a high-level design of an end-to-end integration solution by:
- Defining the flow of data between the applications that must be integrated
-Mapping business process activities to the applications that support them
-Drafting a data object model that provides a common structure for mapping the data between the applications.
Familiar with the delivery of the following components. System Activity Diagram. Illustrates the interactions of the business processes across application/system boundaries.
System Data Flow Diagram. Represents the flow of the data among the applications/systems involved in the integration solution.
Key Data Objects. Specify the data representation for each type of metadata that the business needs to pass among the applications/systems.
Assist with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring EAI compliance.
Oversee or consult on integration architecture (for example, systems) implementation and modification activities (for example, projects), particularly for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions.
Oversee and facilitate the evaluation of software, its integration and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the EAI.
Define development and deployment standards, standard integration patterns, standard workflows message formats and services for integration, standard non-functional test cases, performance testing, production monitoring, and error detection, notification, and recovery procedures for the EAI.
Participate in security access design to solution.
For each interface, participate in design, determine the appropriate design and workflow, and code peer reviews, and establish service level agreements.
Analyze production environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Document necessary integration architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.
Participate in financial estimates on projects and assignments.

Qualifications:

Education:
Minimum requirement - Bachelor?s Degree in Management Integration Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
A Master?s Degree is preferred


Experience:
Minimum of six years of experience in managing point-to-point integration along with a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including integration architecture, network design, application development, middleware, servers and storage. Database management experience preferred.
Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture and object-oriented analysis and design.
Familiar with software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
Exposure to multiple, diverse integration configurations, technologies and processing environments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required

Strong leadership and communication skills, and have the ability to handle multiple deadlines and set priorities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
