Maintenance Technician
Overview
Provide routine maintenance (as detailed below) and repair of nursing facility and equipment. Provides lawn care, landscaping and snow removal on the grounds.
Responsibilities Paints, patches, wallpapers and does other repairs to facility walls, ceilings and floors. Maintains all plumbing, piping and fixtures. Maintains and repairs exterior of the building including lawns, parking lots, side walks and build structures. Maintains all convectors in the facility. Repairs electrical systems such as; Light ballasts, bulbs, switches, receptacles and other devices. Assists Maintenance Supervisor with HVAC systems, takes readings on systems as necessary. Assists Maintenance Supervisor with the installation of new equipment.QualificationsExperience Requirements Trade School or work experience of two years in the following areas; plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry and carpentry.
