Supervisory Progam Specialist (Community Care Mgr)

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conducts daily monitoring of scheduling management, coordination, and analysis of Community Care and consult management. Makes decisions regarding administrative processes and how it effects interrelationships between organizational goals, policies, priorities, structure, and commitments of the staff. Provides direct supervision of Community Care staff performing a variety of administrative duties. Plans work to be accomplished, sets short and long-term goals, assigns work based on priorities, instructs employees on work and administrative matters. Meets the needs of customers while supporting the Medical Center and Service missions. Consistently communicates and treats customers (patients, visitors, volunteers, and all Medical Center staff) in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner. Works well with numerous health care professionals and other administrative staff, has the ability to perform in a stressful environment/situation with extreme diplomacy, and viewed as an integral part of the Community Care team. Complex decision making processes must be invoked with the proper analysis skills and creative resolutions projected. Develops performance standards and completes competencies. Evaluates work performance of subordinates. Manages work assignments of staff. Promotion Potential:
The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
