Health Technician

Perform all medical and clerical operations related to the CP-RENAL outpatient practice team. Respond to telephone and face to face personal inquires regarding appointment scheduling, cancellations, etc. Input appointments, no-shows, as well as enter information into the Recall system, checkouts, etc. Work with Travel for patient authorizations, arrange hotel's based on patient needs as applicable to Medical Center's policies, procedures and regulations. Take vital signs and observing neurological and vascular status, as applicable. Assisting with examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests, as applicable. Performing the collection and labeling of laboratory specimens, including blood, stool and urine specimens, as applicable. Reporting and recording significant signs, symptoms, or behavioral changes observed in the patients. Using aseptic technique principles. Transporting patients and/or specimens to required destinations as applicable. Standard 12-lead EKGs, routine maintenance, store and cleaning of EKG equipment. Health Technician/PD51740A Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary, although some physical effort may be required. There may be some walking, bending, climbing associated with on-site inspections, involving prolonged standing, standing and some activity on rough and uneven surfaces. Work may also require exposure to hazardous materials or conditions which require the wearing of personal protective equipment. There also may be an occasion to carry items, e.g., files, and boxes containing deliverable supplies. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-7 grade level:
One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
